Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington resides in the US and is a writer from Greece, a syndicated journalist as well as a businesswoman. She's written 15 books and is the cofounder of The Huffington Post. Arianna Huffington is an independent liberal news website and a television host, author, and charitable donor. She was born in Greece and relocated to England at the age of 16. In Cambridge University, she graduated with an MA of Economics. At 21 she became head of the famous debate society The Cambridge Union' and was the first non-native student who was elected to this position. The success of her conservative columnist was consolidated after she finished her degree. After the launch of The Huffington Post a few years later, she created an online voice portal that offered critical opinions on the political situation. The celebrity she enjoyed enabled her to get a variety of famous people to share their opinions regarding current affairs, the political and culture. Arianna became famous in 2003 when she ran as an independent candidate in the California recall election to succeed Governor Davis. Alongside that, she led an initiative in Detroit initiative to promote fuel-efficient cars. Her name was voted as the most Popular Women in Media according to Forbes in 2009 and was awarded the 12th place in the list. The same year, the Guardian listed her among the Top 100 Media List. AOL Inc. appointed her President of their media company in 2011 after they acquired The Huffington Post. The Huffington Post also included the other AOL brands like Engadget, AOLmusic Style list as well as Patch Media. Elli Stasinopoulos is a daughter born to Konstantinos the manager's advisor as well as journalist. Though she shared a close relationship with her mother and father, it was their bond that shaped her. Even during her formative years, she exhibited the qualities of a leader for which are still prominently known. At the age of sixteen, she left America to the United Kingdom and enrolled Girton College Cambridge.
