Andrea Elson

Andrea Hope Elson has been an American actor for several years. Elson started in acting as a child model/actress and then as professional actress, is probably best known for the role in the role of Alice Tyler as seen on the CBS science-fiction drama. Andrea was a contestant and landed the role as Lynn Tanner on the hit ALF ALF (1986). Andrea was on the show for a number of years in various TV series and Movies of the week before she made the decision to quit the entertainment business. ALF came during a particularly difficult moment to Andrea Elson, who played Lynn Tanner, the teenage daughter of Kate and Willie. People's retrospective of 2000 on Elson revealed that it was hard to make progress as a female on a sitcom audience. When she was in New York City in 1969 Elson grew up within the world of travel because her advertising father was a salesman who traveled. By the time she was 10-years-old Andrea had been traveling to New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. Andrea was able to find an agent located in San Diego and won her audition for the first role. Fusco explained the decision in saying "ALF has 285 years, so he is an adult who is able to drink alcohol." As ALF started to become increasingly popular, NBC said that Fusco was no longer allowed to have ALF drinking beer in front of the kids. This was a negative role of a model. Fusco believed that ALF could be a drinker even when he was an adult. In 1995, he was found to be suffering from the lymphoma. The cancer was treated successfully and he was in complete Remission throughout the course years of his life. The 26th of June, 2019 at age 75, he died of cancer at the Lillian Booth Actors Home located in Englewood New Jersey.
