She is most well-known for her role as Kate Capshaw, an American actress who retired. Willie Scott is an American nightclub singer and performer. was in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984), a film directed by Steven Spielberg. Since then, she's appeared in Dreamscape (1984), Power (1986), SpaceCamp (1986), Black Rain (1989), Love Affair (1994), Just Cause (1995), and The Love Letter (1999). Capshaw who's portrait has been shown in the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery Capshaw, was born Kathleen Sue Nail in Fort Worth Texas. She is the daughter of Beverley Sue Simon (nee Simon), beauty therapist and travel agent along with Edwin Leon Nail, an employee of the airline. Capshaw moved to St. Louis, Missouri at the age of five and graduated from Hazelwood Senior High School in 1972. Capshaw was awarded a degree at the University of Missouri in education. She was also a part of Alpha Delta Pi. She taught special education at Southern Boone High School in Ashland, Missouri, and Rock Bridge High School in Columbia, Missouri.
